History
The Traeger family completed their first industrial supply sale in 1924, shipping used tractor parts to Cuba on empty banana boats. After the Cuban revolution the name was changed from the Cuban American Export Company to Traeger Brothers. In 1986 the three original brothers had retired and their sons and nephews carried on the family tradition.

Since 1986 Traeger Brothers has evolved from being just another Miami export house and purchasing agent to a full line stocking industrial distributor. With three warehouses and several million dollars worth of PVF stock, Traeger Brothers is positioned to supply the Caribbean Basin’s industrial needs like no other company. 

Organization
Traeger Brothers operates five divisions, each specializing in a different industry. Our Industrial team, showcased in this website focuses on PVF materials for the petroleum industry. The Power and Water team work with the power and water supply utilities on many of the Caribbean islands. The Telecom team provides products to the telephone utilities. We feature two construction teams; the heavy division supports their contractor customer’s efforts in building bridges, dams, tunnels and the like, while the light construction division works with condominium projects, hospitals, airports and other commercial development projects.
