All types of flat steel can be supplied through Traeger’s network of stocking warehouses in Florida, Houston and the world. From simple A36 plate to other steel alloys for tank building or structural maintenance, Traeger’s customers count on our ability to locate the right material at the best price, and deliver it anywhere in the world. Beams, Angles, Channels, Square Tube
Any industrial structure is sure to include plenty of framing and reinforcement, usually specified in carbon steel. Whether your structural steel specs are in inches or meters, European spec HEB beams or ASME spec, Galvanized, black or Corten, Traeger can supply it. Traeger Brothers is familiar with your required spec, and can supply the exact material that you require.

Bar Stock
If you have a machine shop you will be fabricating many items from Bar Stock. If you require Tool Steel, Copper, Aluminum or Brass Rounds, Iron bars or special alloy castings Traeger has the experience and expertise to locate your requirement in stock for rapid delivery.

Gratings and Stair Steps
Traeger has sold galvanized steel and fiberglass grating, stair steps and custom shapes for years, but only recently have we solidified our relationship with the world’s leading manufacturer, Fisher & Ludlow. Their welded gratings are available from stock in many standard sizes, and your special design can be fabricated without delay. With this alliance Traeger has negotiated the best quality along with competitive pricing. Custom Forgings
Our relationship with steel foundries and casting facilities allows us to offer custom manufactured shapes for your special applications. Our refinery partner required a custom return bend manufactured from A217C5, which we were able to have cast and delivered within the required time.

Special coatings
Do you require your plate to be blasted and coated? Our partner shops can blast plate to near white? We can have it primed or painted if you like to protect it for shipment or for the final coating required.

Fabrication
Many of our customers call on us for custom fabrications. Our partner fab shops can make most anything, given a CAD drawing to go by. With Traeger’s buying power for materials and our partner shop’s talent we can bring projects to completion in budget while maintaining top quality.

Building or maintaining a tank?
Through Traeger’s experience with tank builders we have developed distribution agreements with a number of tank accessory manufacturers. We can supply not only the plate required to build or repair floors or walls, and the stair steps and grating for access, but also roof accessories, measuring systems and vents.

Floating Roof Tank
If you have a floating roof tank we can offer replacement seals and shoes for any size tank. If you are interested in a roof drain with a repeatable lay hose we can offer Technip Coflexip hose from their DRAPS division. We can also offer the Coflexip rim fire protection system that shoots AFFF directly onto the tank seal regardless of roof position. Colflexip also offers a skimmer system that can drain floating hydrocarbons from the top of a column of mixed media.
