Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks with Bloody Mary BBQ Sauce

Finish off your steaks with a rich, homemade sauce. Our Smoked Bloody Mary Mix and Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce combine forces for a topping that will take your rib-eyes to the next level.

2 (16 oz) rib-eye steaks
1 1/2 CupTraeger Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce
1 CupTraeger Smoked Bloody Mary Mix

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal results, set to 500℉ if available.

  • Step 2

    Pat steaks dry and season with kosher salt and pepper to taste.

    Ingredients
    • To Taste kosher salt

    • To Taste black pepper

    • 2  (16 oz) rib-eye steaks

  • Step 3

    Chill uncovered, up to an hour before grilling. Pull steaks, and let sit to get up to room temperature.

  • Step 4

    Place steaks directly on the grill grate and cook about 7-9 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 130℉.

  • Step 5

    Remove from the grill let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Step 6

    For the Smoked Bloody Mary BBQ Sauce: Combine BBQ Sauce and Smoked Bloody Mary Mix in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

    Ingredients
    • 1 1/2 Cup Traeger Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce

    • 1 Cup Traeger Smoked Bloody Mary Mix

  • Step 7

    Cook sauce for 10-15 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and serve with steaks. Enjoy!
