  • 3

Remove from grill and let cool. When cool enough to handle, juice limes and reserve.

  • 4

Combine the blackberries with 2 Tbsp sugar. Using the rim of a glass or a fork, lightly crush the blackberries to allow some of the juice to escape.

  • 5

Add 2 sprigs of thyme. Allow the blackberries to sit in the sugar for 30 minutes. Remove the thyme sprigs.

  • 6

Combine the lime juice and Traeger Simple Syrup. Stir in the crushed blackberries. Add 3 cups of the club soda and stir.

  • 7

Taste, adding more club soda if desired. This mixture can be served as a non-alcoholic drink.

  • 8

To make the Blackberry Smash, fill a Collins glass with ice. Pour in 1/2 cup of the blackberry-limeade, then 2 oz of your favorite bourbon.

  • 9

Stir to mix and garnish with a thyme sprig. Enjoy!
