Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday for gobbling creamy homemade mashed potatoes like they’re going out of style.

5 Pound Yukon Gold potatoes
1 1/2 Stick butter
1 1/2 Cup heavy cream
To Taste salt and pepper

Step

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 300℉ (150 C) and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Place the potatoes in a foil tin and cover, roast in the Traeger, until tender about 40 minutes.

    Heat cream and butter together or set aside to come to room temp.

    Whip potatoes by hand or with a hand mixer and add the cream and butter.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
