Grilled Pineapple & Watermelon Creamsicles

Skip the ice cream truck and make your own fruity sweet treat two ways. Grilled pineapple and watermelon are pureed and formed to make creamsicle pops perfect for any sweet tooth.

1/2 Whole | watermelon, sliced |
1/2 Whole | Pineapple, sliced |
1/2 Cup | sugar |
2 Whole | fresh squeezed lime juice |
1 Cup | heavy cream |

Step 1
When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke according to grill instructions.
Step 2
Place watermelon and pineapple on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove from grill and cut rind off watermelon. Cut into 1 pieces and transfer to a blender.
Ingredients
1/2 Whole watermelon, sliced
1/2 Whole Pineapple, sliced
Step 3
Puree until smooth then strain. Repeat with pineapple keeping them separate. Add ½ cup sugar to each juice, juice of 1 lime to each, and ½ cup cream to each. Whisk until sugar dissolves.

1/2 Cup sugar
2 Whole fresh squeezed lime juice
1 Cup heavy cream
Step 4
In a popsicle mold, fill each 1/4 of the way with pineapple, 1/2 with watermelon, then 1/4 with pineapple. Place the molds in the freezer for 1 hour until partially frozen. Insert popsicle stick and place back in the freezer overnight until frozen solid.
Step 5
To remove, run hot water around the outside of the mold and slowly remove the pop. Enjoy!
