Spicy Grilled Pork Sliders

Delicious finger food will keep your New Year’s Eve party rocking, so make sure to have a few stacks of wood-fired sliders.

  • 24 Ounceground pork
  • 3 OunceTraeger Chipotle Rub
  • 12 SlicesSwiss cheese
  • 12 Buns, Slider

Step

  • Step 1

    Mix the pork and rub in a bowl. Do not over mix or the slider will be too tightly bound.

    Ingredients
    • 24 Ounce ground pork

    • 3 Ounce Traeger Chipotle Rub

  • Step 2

    Portion the meat into 12 (2 oz) balls, then flatten the balls into patties about 2-1/2” round.

  • Step 3

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 275℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. Cook the sliders for 8 minutes on each side.

  • Step 4

    Increase the temperature to HIGH. Once grill reaches temperature, cook for 1 additional minute per side.

  • Step 5

    Add the cheese and cook for another 30 seconds.

    • 12 Slices Swiss cheese

  • Step 6

    Remove from Traeger and let rest for 5 minutes.

  • Step 7

    Toast the slider buns for 1 minute on each side and assemble slider. Top with your favorite salsa. Enjoy!
