Pineapple Coleslaw

Our pineapple coleslaw is a fresh, flavorful side with the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, ready to elevate any BBQ dish on your Traeger. Serve it up with pulled pork on a bun, alongside smoked brisket, or even with grilled chicken or fish as the ultimate summer side.

Ingredients

Dressing
2 Tablespoonmayonnaise
1 Tablespoonsour cream
1 Tablespooncider vinegar
2 Tablespoonpineapple juice
1 Tablespoonbrown sugar
1 Teaspoonorange zest
PinchTraeger Anything Rub
Slaw
2 Cupshredded cabbage (red, green or a mix)
1/3 Cupgreen onions, chopped
3 Tablespoonchopped fresh cilantro
1 Cupfresh pineapple, diced
1 Wholejalapeno, seeded & chopped

Step

  • Step 1

    In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the dressing and mix well.

    Ingredients
    • 2 Tablespoon mayonnaise

    • 1 Tablespoon sour cream

    • 1 Tablespoon cider vinegar

    • 2 Tablespoon pineapple juice

    • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar

    • 1 Teaspoon orange zest

    • Pinch Traeger Anything Rub

  • Step 2

    In a separate medium bowl, combine all the ingredients for the slaw and toss.  

    Ingredients
    • 2 Cup shredded cabbage (red, green or a mix)

    • 1/3 Cup green onions, chopped

    • 3 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

    • 1 Cup fresh pineapple, diced

    • 1 Whole jalapeno, seeded & chopped

  • Step 3

    Pour dressing over top and mix well. Serve immediately anywhere you’d use coleslaw. We suggest adding it to your Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwiches
