This cocktail has as much flavor as it does history. Cognac, port wine, smoked simple syrup, and bitters come together for a rich, smooth sip.

4 Ounce Paul Beau Vsop Cognac
2 Ounce Quinta do Noval Black Port
1/2 Ounce Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup
6 Dash Angostura bitters


  • 1

    Combine all ingredients together and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.

    • 4 Ounce Paul Beau Vsop Cognac

    • 2 Ounce Quinta do Noval Black Port

    • 1/2 Ounce Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup

    • 6 Dash Angostura bitters

    Garnish with an orange twist spiked with one whole clove. Enjoy!
