Raise your wood-fired spirits with this cocktail. Pick your whiskey of choice, stir in some grilled lemon juice for enhanced depth of flavor and give it a smoky finish with just the right touch of smoked simple syrup for a Traeger take on a classic Whiskey Sour.

1 Whole | lemon, halved |
1 Whole | lemon, thinly sliced |
2 Ounce | Ransom Whiskey |
3/4 Ounce | Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup |
3/4 Ounce | grilled lemon juice |
Step 1
When ready to cook, set grill temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Step 2
For the grilled lemon juice, slice 1 of the lemons in half and place on the grill. For the garnish, take other lemon and slice lemon wheels 1/4" inch thick and place on grill.

Step 3
Cook for 15 minutes or until the lemons have grill marks on one side. Set the lemon wheels aside. Juice the halved lemon (3/4 oz is about the amount of a half full alcoholic shot glass).

Step 4
Combine all ingredients in a shaker glass with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a grilled lemon wheel. Enjoy!
