Find Your Grill's Firmware Version

Within the grill's settings page, you can find information about the grill's WIFI connection, software version, UUID, and app version.

How to Find the Grill's Settings Page in the Traeger App

  1. Within the app, go to the grill homepage by tapping the banner at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Scroll to the bottom, select Settings.

Grill Name

  • Pick your favorite grill pun or simply a fun name for your new grill.

Firmware Version

  • The grill's current software version is located under "Firmware".
  • Check here to ensure your grill's firmware it up to date.

Config Version

  • The Config Version tells you which version of the app you are using.

WiFi SSID

  • This is the WiFi network your grill is connected to.

Signal Strength

  • For your grill to utilize your grill's WiFIRE capabilities successfully, you will need to make sure the grill's strength signal is between -30 and -70dbm. This strength allows it to connect and operate, as well as receive and download updates.

UUID
