Everything is better with bacon. Take your dogs to the next level with crispy bacon, melty cheddar cheese, and all your favorite toppings.

  • 8 Whole hot dogs

  • 8 Slices thin sliced bacon

  • ketchup and mustard, for serving

  • pickle relish

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 350°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Using a sharp knife on a cutting board, slice the cheese into eight long strips. Slice the hot dogs lengthwise, leaving a "hinge" on one side, and tuck a piece of cheese into each hinge.

    Wrap a slice of bacon in a spiral fashion around each hot dog and secure the bacon with toothpicks.

    Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bacon has crisped up.

    Remove the hot dogs from the grill. Transfer the hot dogs to the buns and serve immediately with ketchup, mustard, and relish as desired. Enjoy!
