Try out this stinger of a cocktail. Gin, citrus and angostura bitters blend together in perfect harmony with a homemade smoked honey and rosemary simple syrup.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger according to grill instructions. Set the temperature to the Smoke setting (set to Super Smoke mode if using a WiFIRE-enabled grill).

For the smoked syrup: Thin 1 cup honey by adding 1/4 cup water in a shallow pan. Add zest of 2 lemons and 2 sprigs of rosemary.

Place the pan directly on the grill grate and smoke for 45 to 60 minutes. Remove from heat, strain and cool.

Increase the grill temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed for about 10 minutes.

For the grilled lemon garnish: Toss lemon slices with granulated sugar and place directly on the grill grate. Cook 20-25 minutes or until grill marks form. Remove from grill and let cool.

In a mixing glass, add gin, lemon juice, lemon, smoked syrup and Angostura bitters.

1 1/2 Ounce lemon juice
2 Dash Angostura bitters

Add ice to the mixing glass and shake. Strain contents into a classic coupe glass. Garnish with a grilled lemon slice. Enjoy!
