Butter Braised Green Beans

  • 24 Ounce thin fresh green beans, trimmed or whole frozen green beans, thawed

  • 8 Tablespoon butter, melted

  • Traeger Veggie Rub or coarse salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 325°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Put the green beans in a pile on a rimmed baking sheet and pour the melted butter over them. Using tongs, spread the beans out in the pan and season with Traeger Veggie Rub and black pepper.

    • To Taste Traeger Veggie Rub or coarse salt

    • To Taste Freshly ground black pepper

    Roast the beans for about 1 hour, stirring and lifting with tongs every 20 minutes or so. The beans should be very tender, shriveled, and lightly browned in places. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve while hot. Enjoy!
