These aren’t the Brussels sprouts you scoffed at as a kid, they’re smoky & seasoned to perfection.

  • 1/2 Pound thick-cut bacon

  • 2 Pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 1 Medium red onion, sliced

  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil

  • salt and pepper

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 350 °F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Grill350 ˚F

    Place the bacon directly on grill grates and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 Pound thick-cut bacon

    Remove the bacon from the grill and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate. Increase the Traeger temperature to 375 °F.

    In a large bowl, add the onion, and Brussels sprouts. Cut the bacon into 1⁄2-inch-pieces and add to bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, and pepper. Toss to coat, and pour into a baking pan.

    • 2 Tablespoon olive oil

    Place the baking pan directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 30 minutes, mixing halfway through cooking.

    Remove the Brussels sprouts from the grill and serve immediately. Enjoy!
