Ingredients

  • romaine lettuce heart
  • 1 Teaspoon
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 6 Slices
  • cooked bacon, crumbled
Blue-Bacon Dressing
  • 2 Teaspoon
  • blue cheese
  • 2 Teaspoon
  • mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Cup
  • milk
  • To Taste
  • garlic powder
  • To Taste
  • salt and pepper

Steps

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 450°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Cut romaine in half, then either brush or drizzle olive oil over both faces of the romaine. Season lettuce with salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.

    • 1  romaine lettuce heart

    • 1 Teaspoon olive oil

    •  salt and pepper, to taste

    • 2 Teaspoon Parmesan cheese

  • Step 3

    Place romaine halves on the grill grate, face down, and grill for 2 minutes. Remove from grill.

  • Step 4

    Prepare the dressing by mixing blue cheese, mayonnaise, and milk in a small bowl. Season to taste with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    • 2 Teaspoon blue cheese

    • 2 Teaspoon mayonnaise

    • 1/4 Cup milk

    • To Taste garlic powder

    • To Taste salt and pepper

  • Step 5

    Assemble your salad, adding more blue cheese or bacon as desired. Enjoy!
