  • 2

In a medium saucepan, combine powdered sugar, syrup and maple flavoring. Cook on the stove top at medium-high until the mixture comes to a slow boil.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 Cup powdered sugar

    • 1/4 Cup maple syrup

    • 2 Teaspoon maple flavoring (optional)

  • 3

Cook, stirring often, for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Add more powdered sugar or cream as needed to reach your desired texture. (Add more powdered sugar if you want a frosting-like topping, or more cream if you want a glaze-like topping).

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tablespoon heavy cream

  • 4

Lay the bacon strips directly on the grill grate. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side (until crisp). Remove to a plate and crumble or chop when cool.

    Grill450 ˚F

    Ingredients

    • 8 Strips bacon

  • 5

Place the doughnuts directly on the grill grate (don't clean the grate after cooking your bacon, the grease on the grill grate will help keep the doughnuts from sticking).

    Ingredients

    • 12 Whole Glazed Yeast Doughnuts

  • 6

Grill doughnuts for 3 to 5 minutes per side, until the glaze is bubbly and there are grill marks on the doughnuts.

    Grill450 ˚F

  • 7

Transfer your hot donuts to a serving platter.
  • 8

Pour the glaze directly on top. Sprinkle with the crumbled bacon and serve immediately. Enjoy! *Cook times will vary depending on set and ambient temperatures. Access this, and over a thousand other Traeger recipes on the Traeger App
