Smoked Crab Legs

Crack open the wood-fired flavor with the king of all crab recipes. Fresh crab legs are smoked directly on the grill and drenched in a homemade BBQ and butter sauce for a smokin' take on this seafood favorite.

  • 4 Whole crab legs

  • 4 Tablespoon butter, melted

  • 1/2 Cup Traeger Texas Spicy BBQ Sauce

  • salt and pepper

  • 1 Tablespoon Traeger Fin & Feather Rub

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 250℉ and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Place the crab legs directly on the grill grate and smoke for 20 minutes.

    • 4 Whole crab legs

    While the crab is smoking, make the sauce. Combine melted butter, Traeger Texas Spicy BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, and Traeger Fin & Feather Rub in a medium bowl.

    • 4 Tablespoon butter, melted

    • 1/2 Cup Traeger Texas Spicy BBQ Sauce

    • To Taste salt and pepper

    • 1 Tablespoon Traeger Fin & Feather Rub

    After 20 minutes of cooking, brush the crab legs with the BBQ sauce mixture. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, reserving the remaining sauce to serve. Remove crab legs from the grill, and serve with melted butter and BBQ sauce mixture. Enjoy!
