4 hamburger buns

Make the special sauce: In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, and vinegar. Set aside until ready to use.

Divide the ground beef mixture into 12 portions, 5 ounces each, then gently shape into patties. Season the patties on both sides with the Traeger Beef Rub.

Arrange the patties directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 minutes longer. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, close the lid again, and cook until the cheese is melted, 2 minutes more. During the last minute of cooking, place the buns on the grill to toast.

To assemble, spread a bit of special sauce on the bottom buns, then top each with pickles, a slice of tomato, a piece of lettuce, 3 burger patties, and a slice of onion. Spread more special sauce on the top buns, then place atop the burgers. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
