- To Taste
- kosher salt
- To Taste
- freshly ground black pepper

- American cheese
- Butter lettuce leaves
- 1
- heirloom tomato, sliced
- 1
- red onion, sliced
- Condiments of choice, for serving

Steps
- Step 1 - When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 450°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes. - 00:15 - 450 ˚F / 232 ˚C 
- Step 2 - Shape the ground beef into 6 burger patties and generously season with salt and pepper. - Ingredients- 2 Pound Wagyu Ground Beef 
- To Taste kosher salt 
- To Taste freshly ground black pepper 
 
- Step 3 - Place the burger patties directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for 4 minutes longer for medium, or to your desired temperature. Place a slice of cheese on top of each burger during the last minute of cooking. - 00:04 - 450 ˚F / 232 ˚C - Ingredients- 6 Slices American cheese 
 
- Step 4 - Flip the burgers and cook for 4 minutes longer (for a medium burger, adjust cook time to your desired doneness), topping each with cheese in the last minute of cooking. Remove the burgers from grill and let rest for 2 minutes. - 00:04 - 450 ˚F / 232 ˚C 
- Step 5 - Place the burgers on the buns and top with butter lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices, along with any desired condiments. Enjoy! - Ingredients- Butter lettuce leaves
