This cocktail has as much flavor as it does history. Cognac, port wine, smoked simple syrup and bitters come together for a rich, smooth sip.
Prep Time
2 Ounce | Paul Beau VSOP Cognac |
1 Ounce | Quinta do Noval Black Port |
1/4 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
3 Dash | Angostura bitters |
orange twist spiked with one whole clove |
Step 1
Combine all ingredients together and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.
2 Ounce Paul Beau VSOP Cognac
1 Ounce Quinta do Noval Black Port
1/4 Ounce smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
3 Dash Angostura bitters
Step 2
Garnish with an orange twist spiked with one whole clove. Enjoy!
