Raise your wood-fired spirits with this Traeger take on a classic Whiskey Sour. Pick your whiskey of choice, stir in some grilled lemon juice for an enhanced depth of flavor, and give it a smoky finish with just the right touch of smoked simple syrup.

3/4 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
Step 1
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 500° and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Step 2
For the Grilled Lemon Juice: Slice 1 lemon in half and place on the grill. For the garnish, take other lemon and slice into wheels 1/4 inch thick and place on grill.

Cook for 15 minutes, or until the lemons have grill marks on one side. Set the lemon wheels aside. Juice the halved lemon, yielding 3/4 ounce of juice.

Step 4
Combine Ransom Whiskey, 3/4 ounce grilled lemon juice and Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup in a shaker glass with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a grilled lemon wheel. Enjoy!
