Diva Q, the Queen of BBQ, shared her spicy smoked holiday nuts recipe with us & it hits every savory note to perfection.

  • 2 Tablespoon clarified butter, melted

  • 1 Teaspoon toasted sesame oil

  • 2 Cup mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, peanuts, etc.)

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon honey powder (optional)

  • 2 Teaspoon cayenne powder (optional)

  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 Teaspoon Kosher salt

    Mix all ingredients (except salt) in a bowl and spread onto a greased disposable aluminum pan in a single layer. Optionally, for a sweet and spicy smoked nut, add 2 Tablespoons honey powder, 2 teaspoon cayenne powder and 1 teaspoons cinnamon.

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 250°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Smoke the nuts for approximately 1 hour, turning the nuts every 15 minutes. When they are done, remove from the grill and sprinkle on the salt.
