Diva Q, the Queen of BBQ, shared her spicy smoked holiday nuts recipe with us & it hits every savory note to perfection.

Units of Measurement:
2 Tablespoon clarified butter, melted
1 Teaspoon toasted sesame oil
2 Cup nuts (almonds, pecans, peanuts, etc.)
1 1/2 Teaspoon Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce
1 1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoon honey powder, optional
2 Teaspoon cayenne powder, optional
1 Teaspoon cinnamon, optional
1 Teaspoon kosher salt

    Mix all ingredients (except salt) in a bowl and spread onto a greased disposable aluminum pan in a single layer. Optionally, for a sweet and spicy smoked nut, add 2 Tablespoons honey powder, 2 teaspoons cayenne powder and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 250°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Smoke the nuts for approximately 1 hour, turning the nuts every 15 minutes. When they are done, remove from the grill and sprinkle on the salt.
