Overview

Are you getting errors noting a component is disconnected? Follow the steps below to ensure proper wire connection.

WiFIRE-Enabled (D2)

  1. Turn off and unplug grill.
  2. Unscrew and remove grill controller from the hopper.
  3. Disconnect and reconnect each connector on the back of the controller.
    • Slightly see-through white connectors
      • Pinch the clasp and gently pull to disconnect.
      • A small click means the connector is securely connected.
    • Bright white connectors
      • Gently pull to disconnect.
    • Yellow Connector
      • Gently pull to disconnect.
      • Ensure the + sided peg is inserted to the + connector
      • Thermocouple plug.jfif
  4. After reconnecting each connector, screw in the controller to the grill.

Non-WiFIRE Enabled (AC)

  1. Turn off and unplug grill.
  2. Unscrew and remove grill controller from the hopper.
  3. Disconnect each connector on the back of the controller.
    • Gently pull on and wiggle each plug to disconnect.
      • If the connector is not disconnecting, spray a small amount of WD40 on the connector and try again.
  4. Reconnect each connector. Follow the chart below to ensure the proper connectors are connected.
