When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature 450°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Season the burgers on both sides with Traeger Prime Rib Rub.

Insert the probe horizontally into the center of a burger patty. Place the burgers directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes, then flip, and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 150°F.

During the last minute of cooking, add the burger bus, cut-side down directly on the grill grates to toast.
