We’ve given the Old Fashioned a Traeger twist. Served on the rocks and garnished with smoked orange slices and cherries; you just became the best bartender in town.

1/2 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
4-5 Dashes Bitters Lab Apricot Vanilla Bitters | |

Step 1
When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 180°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.

Slice the orange into wheels.

Spread the cherries on a small baking sheet. Place the baking sheet on the grill. Arrange the orange slices next to the baking sheet directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and smoke for 30 minutes. Remove the orange wheels from the grill, then close the lid and continue smoking the cherries for another 30 minutes. Remove from the grill and let cool.

Super Smoke
Ingredients
1 Cup cherries, stemmed and pitted

To serve, pour the bourbon into a glass, followed by the Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup and bitters. Add ice and stir for 45 seconds, or until the drink is well-diluted.

Strain the cocktail into clean glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a smoked orange wheel and cherry. Enjoy!
